Beginning January 17, 2025, the booking report will no longer be available on the Leon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) website or social media. This change is being implemented in response to a recent federal court ruling, which found that posting mugshots of individuals who have not been convicted of a crime may violate their due process rights.

Tracy Ruby was found guilty after a four-day trial earlier this week, the State Attorney’s Office for the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida wrote in a press release Friday. The reward comes after a man, who Tallahassee Police identified as 58-year-old Jonathan Fabian, was found dead in a home in the 2900 block of Mission Road on January 4, according to police.
